Portland chippings offer a hardwearing and attractive finish to your landscaping project or driveway. With colours ranging from creams into greys they look great in both modern and traditional settings. We supply our Portland chippings in 20mm size which lock well together and are proven to last the test of time. Perfect for decorative borders, pathways, water features and driveways.
These locally sourced chippings offer a reduced environmental impact compared to other products sourced from the far reaches of the a UK and sometimes even from Europe. There are very few locally quarried products currently available along the south coast, but these offer a good option if you are looking to reduce your carbon foot print and also, as miles travelled means increased costs, you might just save some money as well.
This is a good alternative to Purbeck Chipping that are not currently available.

It is always best to choose angular decorative aggregates that will not move or displace easily. The angular shapes lock together creating a much stronger surface that will perform better than more rounded aggregates. As a rule of thumb use 20mm aggregates from driveway applications and small for pathways and borders.
